Sammy Teuch, an Indiana fourth-grader, took his own life earlier this month after enduring what his family has called relentless bullying at the hands of several students.
With camera in-hand, Habak and his colleagues ran straight into the blast area, carrying people away from the danger zone, and having their painful cries permanently etched into the reporters’ minds.
"She is concerned that so much is still needed to be done for the victims of these recent hurricanes, especially Puerto Rico where there is still no power to most of the island. She hopes this inspires others to give what they can."
