Austin and Kenzi Reddick are the sweetest little couple from North Carolina. Like so many others, they’d tried for what seemed like forever to get pregnant. After multiple fertility treatments, miscarriage and heartbreak, the couple turned to God for answers.

Knowing that there was a little human who needed the Reddicks for parents as much as the Reddicks needed that baby for a child, Kenzi and Austin turned to adoption.
The process would take time, and a lot more money than what they had sitting in their pockets. $20,000 to be exact.
Swallows Grace
Being the creative mind that she is, Kenzi decided to use her Etsy shop, Swallows Grace, to help with their expenses. She sells coffee mugs with fun, clever quotes on them, (and I pretty much want every single one of them in my cupboard ASAP).
Kenzi posted on the Etsy shop page, “100 percent of the proceeds will go directly to bringing our baby home! Our goal is to make and sell 1,000 coffee mugs to get us to the 20,000 mark.”
She knew it was ambitious, and there was no telling how long it would take, but Kenzi was determined to bring their baby home.
Some of Kenzi’s mugs were inspired by her favorite show Fixer Upper. (I mean seriously, is there anyone who doesn’t want to be bestie with Chip and JoJo?)
Chip Gaines
If you know anything about the Waco power couple, it’s that Joanna Gaines has made the word “shiplap” a very regular household term. And a rustic farmhouse style home for $100,000 has us all calling our realtors and planning a move to the Texas college town.
“Blessed, distressed and shiplap obsessed,” “Sawdust is Man Glitter” and “Farm, Sweet Farm,” are just a few of Kenzi’s mugs that she sells.
Swallows Grace
While she was fan-girling over Chip and Joanna, and sporting everything Magnolia, it turns out they were fans of hers as well, drinking straight from Swallows Grace mugs!!
Chip shared a photo on Instagram holding one of Kenzi’s mugs, (my personal favorite) that says, “Joanna Gaines is my spirit animal.”

Just three little words about his sweetheart accompanied by the shoutout in Chip’s caption, linked every single couch-fixer-upper to Kenzi’s Etsy shop, where they could fill their cabinets with her witty mugs.
Chip’s photo brought Kenzi thousands of customers, and a miracle unfolded right before the Reddick’s eyes! They sold a truck-load of mugs, and reached their financial goal of being able to bring home baby!

“Y’all wanna know what’s amazing? GOD IS! He is seriously SO good!! The past week has been a whirlwind to say the least. We were overloaded with orders from @chippergaines awesome post & orders are still coming in!! But we, alongside some awesome friends, worked & got a huge majority DONE (literally an ENTIRE TRUCKBED) to be mailed out today!! We officially can pay for our adoption in FULL!! 😭 🙌🏼 I can’t even put into words how blessed we feel!!”
Just one month after the couple had reached their $20,000 goal, Lane Everett Reddick made his way into the world, and his parents’ hearts!
