It’s no secret that when it comes to favorite Hollywood actors, Chris Pratt is definitely at the top of our list.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star is no stranger to professing his faith, and giving glory to God in ALL of life’s circumstances.
This week, the actor was honored with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
To celebrate the occasion, he took to to Instagram with a Bible verse, reflecting on all of the people who have supported him, and the BIG God he’s had behind him every step of the way:

“Psalm 126:3 ‘The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.’ Thank you to the many, many people who empowered me to follow my dreams.”

Chris Pratt also thanked God in his speech at the ceremony, saying:
“It’s kind of difficult, because…I’m humbled and I’m grateful, but I’m not sure I’m worthy…I’m a man of faith, and I believe God works in mysterious ways and gives us signs, and gifts in life, and those gifts, often times come in the form of people…” (@3:45)

The actor went on to tearfully thank his mom for her sacrifices and unceasing support, even during his humble beginnings as a waiter:
“She gave absolutely everything she had to raise us, every fiber of her being. And oftentimes we weren’t cash-rich, but we were never love-poor. You gave everything and you were always proud of me, way before this. When I was a waiter at Coco’s you just couldn’t get enough of me.”
Pratt continued his heartfelt speech in paying thanks to his brother—who was a fatherly figure to him—and his sister, along with a number of Hollywood names who had a hand in his success—including his beloved wife, Anna Ferris.
Chris Pratt’s faith journey began in a grocery store, and has led him to become one of the biggest names in Hollywood. His testimony is proof that God uses the unlikely to bring His name to those who don’t know Him.
