Little did Brittany’s biological dad know, her stepdad had been emotionally warring over his position on her wedding day ever since the preparation had begun.

Cendrosky admitted, “It crossed my mind every time when we went and tried on tuxes, and we did this and we did that–everything wedding related, it was like man, I’m putting on a tux for what? To sit in the crowd.”

The touched stepdad was flooded with gratitude for the grand gesture, but equally touching is Bachman’s gratitude for him:

“He has helped me raise my daughter and should be walking with us,” he said.

The all-too-identifiable story for any divided family has clearly tugged on the hearts of the masses, as the photos have already been viewed over 15 million times in less than 24 hours.

What a day for love to win when a wedding ends in not just one, but two happily ever afters…
