Julie Davidson had made it just past the six-week mark of her pregnancy when she started to experience severe back pain. A mother’s intuition is powerful, and Julie feared that her back pain was an indication that she was suffering a miscarriage.
She and her husband, Justin, headed straight to the emergency room.

As they waited for the doctor to see them, Justin went to find his wife some apple juice. The doctor arrived before he returned and performed an ultrasound that revealed quite the surprise for this expecting mother.
“When the guy said, ‘no there are FOUR [babies],’ I freaked out! Not because I was mad but because having quadruplets was not expected or really an ‘option’ at all when we found out I was pregnant.”
Because Julie and Justin had conceived naturally, she believed that it was nearly impossible for her to have multiples, let alone quadruplets.

Julie goes on to explain that while she remained shocked for a while, her husband, who already has a 4-year-old son, could not have been more thrilled at the news.
“Justin had went to get me apple juice while we waited on the doctor and I called him crying telling him he needed to come back now. From the moment I told him he’s had the biggest smile and has been positive and my rock and I’m so thankful for him!”
Julie had a healthy 30-week pregnancy. On January 21, the 23-year-old first-time-mom gave birth to Callie, Teagan, McKenna and Sawyer.
The Davidson Quads
The Davidsons shared on Facebook that their four daughters are doing well!
“Mama and babies are doing good! McKenna weighed 3 lbs, Teagan weighed 3lbs 2oz, Callie weighed 2lbs 6 oz, and Sawyer weighed 2lbs 10oz! As of right now she hasn’t needed blood, and the babies are all where they’re suppose to be medically for 30.3 weeks! We do ask we have no visitors for now so we can spend time together as a family. Thank you so much for you’re prayers! Now we just want the sweet girls to do as best they can!

Julie said she’s looking to God for strength now that she’s a mama to four beautiful little girls, and of course a stepmom to Justin’s 4-year-old son, Bentley.
“They say God won’t give you more than you can handle. I’m like, maybe he’s got me mixed up with someone else.”
Julie and Justin have set up a Go Fund Me page for additional support to purchase a van that will fit all seven of them, as well as funds to help them build onto their home so that all of their kids will have more room to grow.
We’re so excited for the happy and healthy new additions to the Davidson family! Share this with your friends if their story inspired you too. ❤️
