In the meantime, Shanon continues to stay in touch with Simone’s biological father, Kelvin Clemons, who shares her desire to speak with their daughter. “We both want to see her. I talk to him all the time,” Shanon revealed. “He says, ‘If you talk to Simone, give her my number. I’d love to talk to her.’ But I can’t even talk to her. I have to go through my dad.”

Simone, who just raked in three gold medals and a silver medal at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, does not speak to either of her biological parents, and currently has no contact.
