Not only are the statements unbiblical; most of them teach the opposite of what the Bible teaches.

"The church is far from perfect. Life is complex. There are growing options. And the post-modern mind distrusts most things organized or institutional. But as trendy as the idea of writing off the church may be, it’s a mistake."

Let's start by saying we are all guilty of being at least one of these people sometimes. This post is a great opportunity for us to pray for God to show the areas of our lives that don't parallel the Gospel and how we can pray to be a Church that glorifies Christ!

"The one who isn’t sure where they belong anymore. Who has watched as 2020 made extremists out of friends, family, and even fellow church members."

It didn’t make sense to me that Christians were preaching a gospel they themselves weren’t following.

"What is the right percentage of deaths to make your personal inconvenience worth dealing with?"

"She didn’t need a seasonal patriot. She needed a gracious Christian."

Even now, as some people read these words, their quills will rise and the claws will come out. They will buck up defensively and begin justifying their behavior without even trying to absorb the rest of my thoughts.
