“I Love God! And You Should Too!”: Chris Pratt Boldly Declares Love for God at Teen Choice Awards

Back in June, actor Chris Pratt took home the ‘Generation Award’ at the MTV Movie and TV Awards, but it was his advice, not the accolade, that got the Internet buzzing.

Interspersed with inspiration, Godly wisdom, and a little humor, the actor delivered what he called “9 Rules from Chris Pratt, Generation Award Winner.”

Amidst some hysterical advice on how to appropriately poop at parties, Pratt also made sure to point to God in several of his life-lesson rules (particularly, numbers 6, 8, and 9), and it would be wise for the next generation to take heed.

“God is real. God loves you. God wants the best for you. Believe that. I do,” charged Pratt, before also encouraging viewers to pray and rest their imperfections in God’s perfect grace:

“Nobody is perfect. People are gonna tell you you’re perfect just the way you are. You’re not. You are imperfect. You always will be, but there is a powerful force that designed you that way, and if you’re willing to accept that, you will have grace. And grace is a gift, and like the freedom we enjoy in this country, that grace was paid for with somebody else’s blood. Do not forget it. Don’t take it for granted. God bless you.”

Now, Pratt is back at it again, proclaiming his love for God on the “Teen Choice Award” stage after winning the 2018 Summer Movie Actor award for his role in “Jurassic World.”

Pratt was announced as the winner alongside his co-star, actress Bryce Dallas Howard, on Sunday night.

“I’m so thrilled to be here, I have not been a teen for quite some time,” said Pratt as he took the stage. “This means a lot to me.”

Then, first and foremost, the actor gave glory to God, as he often uses his public platforms to do.

“I want to thank God. I always do that when I’m up on a big platform in front of a bunch of young faces,” Pratt boldly stated.

“I say ‘I love God, that’s my thing, I love him! And you should too!’” he added with bold emphasis while pointing at the crowd.

Kudos to Pratt for yet again using his fame and huge public platform to glorify the name of God!
