"I had managed to keep my composure in the grocery store, and even when I was putting away my cart back to get my quarter back. But as I drove home, the tears came. I began the ugly cry."
"Tears-pouring-down-my-face, couldn't-talk-couldn't-breathe kind of laughing. Screaming laughing. So hard that I was sobbing because I couldn't get it together."
I was recently talking with a friend. It was obvious to me that she was upset, and I began to see if it was something she felt like talking about. “I can tell you’re upset,” I said. “What would make you happy right now?”
She used to feel in love with life, and in love with you, but now she feels worthless and uninteresting. She feels like she’s forgotten how to have fun.
